Anand leads the passionate multi-disciplinary team at Find Me A Shoe. Intrigued by not able to buy a footwear without physical presence, he and his team have been working for last 4 years on solving shoe fit issues in a holistic manner using variety of technologies - 3D scanning, Neural Network/Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Shoe Fit simulation. Currently, Find Me A Shoe’s fit technologies are being tested, evolved and rolled out with many top global brands & retailers. Find Me A Shoe was selected as Top 10 retail/fashion tech startups by Techstars Retail in 2017 and New York Fashion Tech Labs in 2018.

Before founding Find Me A Shoe, Anand was a leading technologist in Semiconductor space with many critical contributions to Networking & PC industry including Apple’s first Macbook Air design, and Intel’s first smartphone chip. His goal is to apply the same level engineering rigor and solve footwear fit problem at scale. His academic research at IIM, Ahmedabad in 2010 titled “Solving Fit issues in Apparels profitably” provided the ground work for Find Me A Shoe project.

Anand has an engineering degree from University of Madras and a management degree from IIM-Ahmedabad, India. He has 23 years of experience in Semiconductor, Retail and Footwear Industries with associations with Intel, Philips, and other Silicon Valley start-ups.
